1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging with CMAP, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services
CMAP offers consultation authentication and fraud prevention services designed to assist medical schemes in verifying healthcare consultations. Our platform facilitates secure patient participation and verification but does not guarantee fraud elimination.
3. User Responsibilities
Clients (medical schemes and their authorised representatives) agree to use the platform in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including data privacy legislation such as POPIA. Clients are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials.
4. Data Privacy and Security
CMAP is committed to protecting client and member data in accordance with South African privacy laws. We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights related to the CMAP platform and its content remain the exclusive property of CMAP or its licensors. Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform as permitted under this agreement.
6. Limitations of Liability
CMAP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. While we strive to ensure accuracy and reliability, CMAP does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days’ written notice. Upon termination, clients must cease all use of the platform and delete any confidential information.
8. Amendments
CMAP reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
